Design approach: Branding
Dobloon means Spanish gold coin: the treasures everyone dreamed of during the Age of Exploration. The logo consists of solid circles symbolizing coins, while the last letter “n” forming the shape of a treasure chest icon that can be used separately as a secondary logo within the system.
As the treasure chest opens and closes, it swallows or releases text and images. This dynamic runs throughout the entire visual system to hint at the gamified mechanism of Dobloon.
